The most astounding thing about NEO YOKIO as an anime is how its Black characters are a true representation of Black people in real life. JOURNEY'S DAWN made its US red carpet debut in downtown LA this weekend amid much hype over the critically-acclaimed television series, MADE IN ABYSS. The star-studded lineup included special guests director Masayuki Kojima, composer Kevin Penkin, music producer Hiromitsu Iijima, and producer Shimpei Yamashita.

The MADE IN ABYSS movie, JOURNEY’S DAWN, reshapes and expands the series for the big screen. With gorgeous animation and excellent editing, the movie succeeds in being a stand-alone experience.
