Welcome back! This is Episode #25 of the Weekly Comics News Show — a weekly program that brings you the latest in comic book news, new comics, and more. This week, Super Hero Girls Lindsey Mott and Kay Honda are hosting! Together with our creative team, they will scour through new comics releases and news stories every week to get you exactly what you need to be up to date in the world of comics.

In Marvel news this week, the company has just announced the launch of 52 new titles to be featured in the upcoming Marvel Legacy series! Meanwhile, Marvel is planning on releasing a few titles for free via download on their website, including the acclaimed ICEMAN #1!

The Force is with IDW this week. STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is returning to comics in the form of a new Young Adult reader series. The movie adaptation will precede an on-going Young Adult Reader series titled STAR WARS ADVENTURES, that will feature brand new stories starring Rey from FORCE AWAKENS!

In DC, “The War of Jokes and Riddles” enters its next phase in BATMAN #26. Joker and Riddler begin to form their respective squads, with Batman caught in the middle!

Slade Wilson is about to take a turn for the heroic in DEATHSTROKE #21. Following the events of “The Lazarus Contract,” it appears that Deathstroke has had a change of heart, and is preparing to form his very own team of super heroes!

Deathstroke might be reforming, but Deadpool is about to get nastier than ever! Prepare for some super hero slaughter with the triumphant return of writer Cullen Bunn and artist Dalibor Talijic in DEADPOOL KILLS THE MARVEL UNIVERSE AGAIN #1!
