Welcome back! We’re on Episode #13 of the Weekly Comics News Show — a weekly program that brings you the latest in comic book news, this week’s comics, and more!  Regular host Patrick Aloia is out this week finishing up his Great American Novel. This week’s hosts are instead Andrew Rivera and Lindsey Mott. Together with our creative team, they will scour through releases and news stories every week to get you exactly what you need to be up to date in the world of comics.

This week we’re talking about GAME OF THRONES, INJUSTICE 2 #1, AMERICA #2, SECRET EMPIRE, BLACK CLOUD #1, and much more. Nearly two years after the last comic, Dynamite Entertainment’s Game of Thrones comics return at last with an adaption of George R.R. Martin’s A CLASH OF KINGS. DC has revealed a variant cover for INJUSTICE 2 #1, drawn by legendary artist Jim Lee. This cover finally introduces Brainiac to the Injustice comic universe.

We’re also talking about NIGHTWING #18, in which Nightwing and Robin continue their search for Shawn Tsang, and SUPERMAN #20, which sees the Super-family readjusting to life in the post “Superman Reborn” status quo when Batman and Robin show up to poke around.
