LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 3 Episode 16: “I, Ava”

This week’s episode of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is Season 3, episode 16. Titled, “I, Ava” this episode looks to explore a strange world filled with robots that look like Time Bureau Director Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan).

According to the episode’s synopsis, Ava disappears, so Sara (Caity Lotz) and Ray (Brandon Routh) look to find out where she went (This will most likely lead them to this Ava-Robot world/time). Meanwhile, Zari (Tala Ashe) trains Rory (Dominic Purcell)  to control his totem power, the fire totem. Also, Nate and Wally will set out on a mission with an unlikely person to get a totem.

The episode’s promo reveals the world full of robot Ava’s. Sara declares that the Legends are so close to getting the upper hand of Mallus (John Noble) as they almost have all of the totems needed to defeat him.

Several quicks shots happen next, Mallus ordering Damien Dahrk (Neal McDonough) to bring him the missing totems, Rory controlling fire with the fire totem, the Legends fighting of robot-Avas, and supposedly the real Director Sharpe coming face to face with a squad of robots that look just like her.It certainly looks like things are continuing to escalate, as the Legends continue to prepare to save time itself and face down Mallus.

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW airs this Monday, 8/7c on the CW.

BLACK LIGHTNING Season 1 Episode 10: “Sins of the Father: The Book of Redemption”

Jefferson (Cress Williams) and Anissa (Nafessa Williams) continue to unravel the truth in the 10th episode of BLACK LIGHTNING. This episode, “Sins of the Father: The Book of Redemption” will go further into Gambi’s (James Remar) actions in his past. Black Lightning and Thunder will attempt a rescue of several children who we can only assume were being turned into metahumans.

In fact, much of this episode will probably be related to metahumans. The promo suggests a return of Lala (William Catlett) who seemingly possesses some resurrection metahuman ability. Meanwhile, Jennifer (China Anne McClain) is reconciling herself with the discovery of her powers.  Alongside her mom Lynn (Christine Adams), Jennifer is realizing the full extent of her abilities for better or for worse. Will Jenn finally decide to use her abilities for justice?

Find out this Tuesday 9/8c on the CW.

The promo begins with Nyssa telling Thea that she can’t run from the fact that she is now the new heiress to the Demon, as a result of her father Malcolm’s death. What appears to be the mysterious box is shown as Nyssa goes on to tell Thea that she can’t run from her father’s legacy any more than she can deny her own father’s.

She warns that they will find her. The renegade assassins arrive, claiming that blood will be shed. The promo ends with several of the assassins going head to head with Thea, Nyssa, and Oliver.
