Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr This Week on the Arrowverse is all about conflict. Whether it is Lena Luthor confronting Morgan Edge in SUPERGIRL, Team Flash facing off with a murderer, an inner battle between Jefferson Pierce and his alter ego, or a rift between Oliver and Dinah, this week is set to show our heroes battling it out both physically and emotionally. SUPERGIRL: “For Good” This week’s episode of SUPERGIRL “For Good” is sadly not a reference to the Wicked song of the same name. Instead, it’s reference to Supergirl’s role as a force for good in National City. While chaos unfolds around the Girl of Steel, Jon (David Harewood) reminds her that she must stay firm and determined. As Kara (Melissa Benoist) prepares for the attack of Reign and her fellow Worldkillers, Morgan Edge (Adrian Pasdar) survives an assassination attempt. Edge, always an opportunist, uses the attempt as a way to implicate his rival Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). Lena once again must fight off her dark urges when dealing with the despicable edge. Meanwhile, Alex (Chyler Leigh) decides to run some medical tests on Sam (Odette Annable). Will Alex discover Sam’s identity as Reign? If so will Sam be able to hold back her other personality from murdering her friend? Find out on SUPERGIRL Episode 11, this Monday at 8PM EST on The CW. THE FLASH: “Honey, I Shrunk Team Flash” This week’s episode of THE FLASH features Barry (Grant Gustin) working with Team Flash while inside Iron Heights Prison. After Barry befriends a former prison mate of his father’s, he learns that Big Sir (Bill Goldberg) was wrongfully convicted. The real criminal might still be out on the streets, so it’s up to the rest of Team Flash to bring this man down. However, it may be difficult as the individual they’re after has a shrink ray — one which he uses on Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Ralph (Hartley Sawyer). THE FLASH: Guilty of Greatness in Season 4 ‘Trial of the Flash’ Mid-Season Premiere Also, there’s a subplot about Cecile’s (Danielle Nicolet) pregnancy giving her the ability to read minds. That development is sure to throw her relationship with Joe (Jesse L. Martin) for a loop. Will Team Flash grow their friends back to normal size? How is Cecile’s baby a metahuman? And is anyone else liking the show more now with Barry in jail? Be sure to catch THE FLASH on The CW at 8 PM Eastern Standard Time. BLACK LIGHTNING: Jefferson Pierce in “LaWanda: The Book of Burial” This week’s episode of BLACK LIGHTNING is titled “LaWanda: The Book of Burial.” Last week’s episode was called “Lawanda: The Book of Hope.” This refers to the same LaWanda who Lala shot and killed in the last episode. I expect for LaWanda to become a symbol for the community as protest emerges calling for an end to gang violence. Many are calling for Black Lightning to emerge once and for all and defeat the 100 gang. Jefferson Pierce (Cress Williams) must measure whether his community needs Black Lightning. Is his work as the school principal enough to stop violence? Or is vigilantism the only way to go? Perhaps Anissa (Nafessa Williams) will use her powers to fight the gangs if Black Lightning refuses to. We also will have to see whether Jefferson and Lynn (Christine Adams) can maintain their relationship if Jefferson decides to dedicate himself to live as Black Lightning once again. BLACK LIGHTNING Episode 101 Review: Revitalization In the promo for “Lawanda: The Book of Burial,” Tobias Whale (Marvin “Krondon” Jones III) features prominently. Will Whale take a more active role as the main antagonist of the series? Clearly, he is worried about this growing antagonism to his gang. Will he try to hunt down Black Lightning himself and extinguish him as a symbol of resistance? We’ll have to wait till Tuesday at 8PM EST on the CW to find out!ARROW: “All for Nothing” This week’s episode of ARROW, “All for Nothing” shows Cayden James (Michael Emerson) continuing to threaten to the city with his thermobaric bomb, and the city is in turmoil. Also, according to the episode’s synopsis, Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Dinah (Julianna Harkavy) will be at odds with each other which will result in someone from the team being put in danger. The thing that will put them at odds is most likely Vigilante, Dinah’s former partner, and his faithful allegiance. While he claims that he is working undercover within James’ organization, there is still suspicion as to who he’s working for. Dinah’s relationship with Vigilante will most likely be what puts someone from the team in danger. ARROW airs this Thursday 8PM EST on the CW.
