Sadly you’ll have to wait until March 22 for the return of ARROW, and April 16 for the return of SUPERGIRL. Before those shows return, enjoy these three amazing shows this week! LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season 3 Episode 14: “Amazing Grace” This week’s episode of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW is Season 3, episode 14. Titled, “Amazing Grace”, the Legends go back to the birthplace of rock ‘n’ roll, according to the synopsis. Their mission will be to save music, which leads them to the sixth totem, the Death Totem. This is the last totem that they have been looking for. Zari (Tala Ashe) will also be helping the newest Legend, Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale), adjust to the team. So look forward to seeing Wally in action the Legends, while they try to grab the final totem before the Darhks do. According to the promo, this episode will take place in Memphis. There the Darhks are tampering with the music of none other than the King himself, Elvis Presley. They make it so that his music starts to drive the people of Memphis insane. Not only will the Legends have to work to prevent this, but they’ll have to do it while also trying to find the last totem. It’s sure to be a fun episode with new developments, new team members, and that new-fangled music called rock ‘n’ roll! LEGENDS OF TOMORROW airs this Monday, 8/7c on the CW. THE FLASH Season 4 Episode 16: “Run, Iris, Run” Last week’s thrilling FLASH episode had our hero pushing himself to the limit to save Central City. This week he faces against a new bus-meta, Melting Pot. This new meta, played by Leonardo Nam, can swap people’s DNA. Based on the promo, it would appear Melting Pot switches Barry (Grant Gustin) and Iris’ (Candice Patton) DNA — thus giving Iris super speed. While Melting Pot is a bus-meta, in the promo he can be seen in meta-cuffs being hauled away after Iris captures him. The main threat in this episode is the fire villain Pyro (played by GLEE alum Max Adler). Now to stop this new threat to Central City the couple must adjust to each other’s roles on Team Flash! I Still Miss My Flash: The Original Wally West On the surface, it seems like a fun FLASH episode where Iris gets to have powers for an episode. However, there is something worth noting about Iris’ speed streak — it’s purple. The speed streaks for speedsters is typically yellow with a red outline. In the case of Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher), his streak is red with a yellow outline due to him drawing his power from the negative part of the Speed Force. As for Zoom (Teddy Sears), his streak was blue because of the effects of taking velocity-9. The last time viewers saw a purple streak was in season 3 episode 14 from a brief appearance of Accelerated Man in Earth-19. Will someone on Team Flash notice Iris’ purple speed streak and provide some explanation? Where did this meta Pyro come from? Find out by watching THE FLASH this Tuesday at 9/8c on The CW! BLACK LIGHTNING Season 1 Episode 8: “Revelations” BLACK LIGHTNING is keeping up with its biblical themes with episode 8 titled “Revelations.” Revelations were the Biblical book that foretold of the second coming of Christ. The show has referred to Black Lightning (Cress Williams) many times as “Black Jesus.” Then there is the fact that Latavius (William Catlett) also known as LaLa, is now resurrected. I am incredibly interested to see how LaLa gained his powers. It seems to be connected to his murder of Lawanda back in Episode 2. It will be fascinating to explore LaLa’s resurrection and his possible crusades for vengeance against Tobias Whale (Marvin Jones III) that will mirror Black Lightning’s. The most obvious reason for the title “Revelations” is that this episode is sure to hold some secrets in it. Peter Gambi (James Remar) will play an even larger part in this episode as Jefferson learns how Gambi has been double-crossing him. As an audience member, I am very excited to see what game Gambi has been playing. His alliance with Lady Eve (Jill Scott) clearly kept him as well as Jefferson protected from direct harm from the 100 Gang. Now with Tobias Whale directly in charge, Gambi will find himself directly vulnerable to an attack. Gambi may have to tell Jefferson the truth about his duplicitous actions. However, when he confesses, can he rely on Jefferson to still be his friend?Watch BLACK LIGHTNING on Tuesday at 9/8c on The CW to find out!
