Nia reveals her powers, THE FLASH has its 100th episode, Oliver is free, and the Legends go to New Orleans. Read on, it’s gonna be a great week! This Week on Arrowverse: SUPERGIRL This week on Arrowverse for SUPERGIRL brings us to “Bunker Hill.” (Fun fact: This episode is directed by Kevin Smith.) After Supergirl and James Olsen narrowly escaped the Children of Liberty last episode, it looks as though Nia Nal (Nicole Maines) reveals her powers. The synopsis tells us that Nia Nal has a dream about Agent Liberty. However, she doesn’t want to see it as prophetic. Kara and Brainy will somehow discover her powers and will urge her to embrace them. Meanwhile, Manchester Black (David Ajala) will continue down his dark path as he goes on the hunt for Ben Lockwood, Agent Liberty himself. Image from the CW The episode promo begins with Nia telling Kara that she can dream about the future. Brainy proposes that Nia could lead them to Liberty. Then, Brainy and Kara come up with a plan to have Brainy go inside Nia’s brain while she’s dreaming, to get a lead on Agent Liberty. Near the end of the promo, we see Nia face to face with Agent Liberty, but my assumption is that this is part of her dream and we the audience will get to see the dream alongside Brainy. Manchester Black will most likely be the B story. The episode will cut back and forth from the dream to Manchester. This Week on Arrowverse: THE FLASH Last week we saw Weather Witch, Nora coming to grips with her dad’s sacrifices, and Cicada truly being the victim of circumstances that have led him down his dark path. Now it’s time for THE FLASH’s 100th episode! This week on Arrowverse, it looks as though THE FLASH will be dealing with the past. The episode is titled “What’s Past is Prologue,” a pretty cool title if you ask me. The synopsis tells us that Team Flash comes up with a plan to defeat Cicada, however, it means that Flash and Nora have to go back in time to get some things. Apparently, Barry will be concerned about Nora seeing his past. Image from the CW The promo is wild. Sherloque tells Barry to go back to the past, to defeat Cicada in the future. It looks as though Barry and Nora will be going back in time, visiting past villains?! We see shots of Thawne, Zoom, and Savitar. Zoom is face to face with Barry and Nora, asking Barry who Nora is. More rapid action shots with Barry saying that they shouldn’t have done this. We then see Barry and Nora with Thawne in his secret room. He says that things just got a lot more complicated. AHHHH! This episode is going to be nuts! The CW is pulling out all the stops for the 100th episode. Plus, Tom Cavanagh is directing! Don’t miss it! This Week on Arrowverse: ARROW Oliver is out of prison!!! *Cues happy dance* Don’t get me wrong, I appreciated what they did with him and the story while he was in there. Plus, did you see last week’s fight scene? But it’s nice to have the team all back together again. Speaking of the team, it looks like they really will all be reunited in “Unmasked,” this week’s episode. The trailer features Dig, Rene, and Lyla questioning Oliver about his future and what he has planned, with scenes of Oliver back in the Green Arrow suit. I can’t wait to see Oliver back at it again, with hopefully everyone supporting him. I got tired of the drama between Old Team Arrow and New Team Arrow last season, so I’m looking forward to seeing them as a cohesive unit. Image from the CW Although we don’t really see much of Felicity in the trailer, the synopsis and a few hints from Stephen Amell give clues as to what she’ll be up to in this episode. The synopsis says, “Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) stands by her recent decisions regarding her family. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (Audrey Marie Anderson) continue to look into the Dante painting that Curtis (Echo Kellum) found.” I’m interested to see what kind of understanding Oliver and Felicity will come to once Oliver finds out Diaz was telling the truth about her. Also, is this going to impact those flashforwards in any way? Yes, I still want more answers from them! With only this episode until ELSEWORLDS, will things start settling into a new routine for Oliver? Or will it still be up in the air, leaving the events of ELSEWORLDS to shake things up even more? This Week on Arrowverse: LEGENDS OF TOMORROW LEGENDS continued a strong season last week with another wonderfully chaotic episode. The main story of ‘Midnight in Paris’ with a minotaur, was worth it for the sheer joy of watching Ernest Hemmingway battle a man-bull. The sub stories with Nora Darhk and Nate continued the character development well. It’s also good that they found a way to keep Nate as part of the show while keeping him off the ship. (Let’s be honest, having him and Charlie there was never going to work.) So what’s up for next week? N’Awlins and dolls. Image from the CW I love New Orleans, and its amazing culture, so getting to see the Legends travel there in the old days will be amazing. The trailer already shows signs of a classic New Orleans funeral march, which fits in great with the dark magic theme. The evil doll aspect could be interesting, but I’m hoping they don’t just say ‘its voodoo’ and leave it at that. Still, even if that comes to pass, there’s plenty of character material to keep this episode moving. This Week on Arrowverse: Character Development Charlie continues to settle into the ship, but will things go on now that Nate knows she’s there? Plus, after a couple of episodes on the backburner, Constantine’s problems are poised to make a comeback, and the darkness in New Orleans is a perfect backdrop. Could Papa Midnite be making an appearance in the Big Easy? On the lighter side, Nora and Ray’s potential relationship is out in the open at last. How will that play out, especially with Mona in the middle, most likely trying to play Cupid once more? This should be another strong episode, and at this rate, I’m praying they get into an episode with Kurt Cobain (I feel I can hope for anything). The Arrrowverse airs on the CW.
