Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr Get ready to feel The Force like never before! This May, writer Gary Whitta (ROGUE ONE: A STAR WARS STORY, STAR WARS REBELS) is teaming up with artist Michael Walsh (STAR WARS ANNUAL, HAWKEYE, THE VISION) to bring STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI from screen to page. In this all-new adaptation, follow your heroes Rey, Poe, and Finn as they venture across the galaxy seeking aid from Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in the fight against the nefarious First Order. Acquaint yourself with General Leia Organa and the heroic Admiral Holdo again, give Chewie some love.Image courtesy of Marvel Entertainment Given the talent behind this, we can only assume good things are to come from this. Whitta, after all, had a direct hand in crafting the story of ROGUE ONE, considered by some to be the best entry in the STAR WARS film canon so far. Then there’s Walsh who’s also no stranger to STAR WARS having brought his talents to the STAR WARS ANNUAL in the past. But this isn’t any old adaptation; Marvel’s really making it worth your while to pick this up. Image courtesy of Marvel Entertainment Never-Before-Seen Material It’s the blockbuster story you all know and love, but with special never-before-seen material written specifically for this comic adaptation. Ever wonder what was left on the cutting room floor or what might have happened between scenes? Well, feel free to hang up your fanfic writer’s cap as this adaptation’s got you covered. Whitta and Walsh have crafted brand new tales for your favorite heroes within the larger plot of THE LAST JEDI. Nothing has been revealed about what is in this adaptation, so we can only speculate. Maybe there’ll be some more Jedi training with Luke, or maybe an affectionate heart-to-heart between R-2 and BB-8. Heck, maybe we’ll even get a Porg side story akin to POKEMON: PIKACHU’S VACATION. There’s only one way to find out, though! Be sure to pick up STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI ADAPTATION, hitting shelves May 8th!
