SPIDER-GEDDON is just around the corner, friends. Though I’m not overly excited for the event as a whole, SPIDER-GEDDON #0 has definitely caught my attention. Considering it stars the Spider-Man of the fan-freaking-tastic new game, of course I’m antsy to read this issue. So, ComicsVerse is coming at you with an exclusive SPIDER-GEDDON #0 preview!

P.S. If you haven’t played the new game, go play it, post-haste.

Our SPIDER-GEDDON #0 Preview Gives Us Another Glimpse of Video Game Pete

Our brief little SPIDER-GEDDON #0 preview is filled with tons of fun references to the new video game. It features a brief bit from Jameson’s talk show, mentions one of the districts available in the game, and shows off Insomniac’s original suit so perfectly. It also features that world’s version of the villain Tarantula.

On top of this issue starring the newest Spider-Man of the multiverse, it will also, apparently, feature the returning Superior Spider-Man. That one caught me by surprise. I figured he’d be coming back by the end of the whole event. I guess he just couldn’t wait.

I’m very interested to see how this interaction further plays out, considering the new Peter Parker’s relationship with his world’s Doc Ock. Should Pete discover Superior Spider-Man’s true identity, I’m sure he’ll have a few words for his counterpart.

Sadly, though, our SPIDER-GEDDON #0 preview cuts off at the juiciest spot.

Also, I can’t remember the last time I saw Clayton Crain’s artwork in a Marvel book. I’m super excited to see a full issue drawn by him again. His style has always had a way of fitting Spidey just right. Crain draws his characters in such an exuberant and exaggerated manner. How could it not fit Spidey?

SPIDER-GEDDON hits shelves next week, on September 26. In the meantime, I advise you all go play the new game. I know that’s what I’ll be doing until then.
