Have you wanted to try new Nintendo products but aren’t sure whether you’ll like them? Well, they are going to be coming to a Walmart near you! Just announced and starting June 23 to August 19th you’ll get to do just that!

NINTENDO
Even Mario has fun in the sun!

Nintendo, in partnership with Gametruck, will be traveling the country and bringing their products for you to try! From the new NINTENDO LABO to a plethora of new games. You can also meet plenty of new and current mascots showing up at certain locations. Using the website, you can type in your zip code and find out when, where the truck will be showing.

They’re not done yet; there is even a sweepstake you can enter and win some awesome prizes. The Grand Prize is a trip for four to any Southwest Airlines destination! They specify New York, Denver, San Fran, Mexico City and The Caribbean. Not to mention, even if you’re a runner-up you get a brand new Switch. Sign me up!

NINTENDO’s Getting the Word Out

I think this is a great idea. There are plenty of people who want a chance to try either a Nintendo Switch or the Nintendo Labo. Nintendo Labo definitely seems to be niche, but I feel like a hands-on would bring people into it. Having the mascot’s there sounds like a fun idea for the kids, especially if mom and dad are busy trying out the games.

Look how much fun he’s having!

I think the sweepstakes will be the biggest draw for everyone, as even winning a Nintendo Switch as a runner-up? That sounds awesome. Plus, who doesn’t want a free trip to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies?

The only real downside I can see is that maybe not everyone has a Walmart nearby and unless there are a large number of trial products, there might be some long wait times for any trial.
