Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr THE FLASH might be on a break next week on ARROWVERSE, but it’s still going to be a great week. Lex Luthor’s influence has come to light on SUPERGIRL, and we’ll learn more about Emiko’s past on ARROW. Read on to learn more! Next Week on ARROWVERSE: SUPERGIRL It looks like Lex Luthor’s influence on SUPERGIRL is much bigger than anyone previously thought. This week’s episode of SUPERGIRL gives us our introduction to their version of Lex, and now it certainly seems like he’s being set up to be the main villain for the rest of the season. The episode is titled “House of L,” which is a play on Superman’s Kryptonian family surname, El, and replacing it with L, as in Luthor. According to the synopsis, in the wake of Lex Luthor’s return, flashbacks show what he’s been doing for the last two years and how his secret machinations and plans have affected Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lena. It looks as though this episode of SUPERGIRL next week on ARROWVERSE will show that Lex has been behind the scenes for a long time. Image from the CW The episode promo confirms as much. It starts out with Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) on trial saying that he’s saving mankind from its own extinction, given that aliens live among them. We then see him standing over the Russian Supergirl we’ve only seen in small segments thus far this season. She tells him that she will follow Lex, and destroy Supergirl. Walking with what appears to be the Russian military officials in charge of this Red Daughter, Lex says that while they can’t break a Kryptonian, maybe they can bend one. Perhaps after this episode next week on ARROWVERSE, we’ll finally see Supergirl face off against her Russian counterpart? We’ll see. ARROW Next week on ARROWVERSE for ARROW will have a large focus on Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Emiko (Sea Shimooka). This week features an awesome episode of what’s in store for Star City’s future, but next week will go back to the present day titled, “Inheritance.” The synopsis says that Laurel will learn about some damaging information that affects Emiko. As a result, Oliver (Stephen Amell) invites Laurel to help investigate, which makes Felicity happy, as her friend is now working with the team. However, Felicity will later be forced to make a choice between the team and Laurel. Image from the CW While the synopsis seems to indicate that the episode will be about Laurel, the promo is all about Emiko. There were only a few shots in the promo, all of them of Emiko. There’s also one with an arrow in the body. Oliver says that there are things that Emiko has been keeping from them. Diggle says that the only thing they know about her is what she’s been telling them. Finally, Laurel tells Oliver that his sister is not the hero he thinks she is. It looks like Emiko is hiding some dark secrets in her past, which will be revealed next week on ARROWVERSE. Will it be dark enough to put her in Team Arrow’s crosshairs?
