Next Week on ARROWVERSE is going to be crazy. Star City 2040 on ARROW, Nora comes clean on THE FLASH, and Lex Luthor comes to SUPERGIRL! Read on to find out more coming next week on ARROWVERSE.

Next Week on ARROWVERSE: SUPERGIRL

Next week on ARROWVERSE, Lex Luthor is coming to SUPERGIRL! There have been plenty of references to Lex in episodes past of Supergirl, but this will be the first time actually seeing him on screen. Played by Jon Cryer, it looks like Lex is going to meet with his sister, Lena, in this episode titled,

“O Brother, Where Art Thou?”

According to the synopsis, Luthor will be furloughed from prison due to his ill-faith. He visits his sister to seek her help, but Lena is suspicious of Lex’s motives, but when she’s faced with a life and death situation, she must decide how she truly feels about her brother. With Lena’s work on giving normal people superpowers, is it possible Lex is manipulating events to get powers of his own next week on ARROWVERSE?

The promo shares more with an extended trailer. Based on what we see, it doesn’t look like Lex has been reformed from his time in prison. Upon getting out, we see Lena pleading with him as the skies turn red. She tells him that the world can’t live under a red sun. He responds that he wants to see if the Kryptonian pretender can bleed. This is because the red sun is Krypton’s natural sun, under it, a Kryptonian has no powers. Our yellow sun is what does that.

Lex is seeking to bring Superman and Kara down to his level. He yells in anger that he was supposed to be the man of tomorrow, not Superman. Upon his release from prison, Supergirl obviously wants to find and stop Lex. Speaking of Superman, Clark has been off-world with Lois since the Elseworlds crossover. Is it possible that the threat of Lex Luthor brings him home next week on ARROWVERSE? Maybe.

ARROW

Star City’s future will become clearer next week on ARROWVERSE. Next week’s episode of ARROW is titled, “Star City 2040.” Now, while we have had more than a few flash-forwards to the future this season, it seems like all of this episode will focus on the future. According to the synopsis, Mia (Katherine McNamara) and William (Ben Lewis) go on a dangerous mission. Dinah, Roy, and Zoe deliver some devastating news and flash forwards share highlights from Mia’s childhood with Felicity. There’s not much to go on, but seeing Mia’s childhood with Felicity and Oliver as the parents of a young child should be interesting.

The promo doesn’t provide much either. We see a remote cabin in the woods. In a voiceover, Mia asks her mother that she told her that they had to hide there because her dad was the Green Arrow. Felicity is giving birth to her, and then she and Oliver hold Mia in their arms. Felicity responds that if anyone finds out about who her father is or who she is, but then is cut off with an arrow being shot into a photo of their family. The caption reads that a hero’s legacy is born. Again, there’s not much to go on, but it certainly looks intriguing enough, so we’ll just have to tune in next week on ARROWVERSE to find out more.

Next Week on ARROWVERSE: THE FLASH

This week’s episode of THE FLASH sees Team Flash finding and giving a cure to Cicada, only to have another Cicada attack Star Labs and take the original Cicada away. The new Cicada has been revealed to be an older version of Cicada’s niece, Grace. Most likely, she’s from the future, just like Nora. According to the synopsis, Team Flash finds out that suburban mom Vickie Bolen is in danger, and they race to save her. They discover she’s a metahuman who is hiding her abilities from her family. Barry also encourages Vickie to share her secret with her family.

The promo, however, has nothing to do with said synopsis. It has everything to do with Nora’s secret (working with Thawne). It starts with Team Flash finding a time sphere in the forest, much like the time sphere used by Reverse Flash in Season 1. “Secrets are like walls,” Barry says. “You can’t really know someone with walls between you,” Nora says, adding that this should all be over, and asks Thawne, her accomplice, what they should do now. Thawne tells her to tell her father everything. The shot had Barry and company looking shocked because Nora had come clean. In any case, next week on ARROWVERSE for THE FLASH is gonna be big.
