And…we’re back with Next Week on ARROWVERSE! The hiatus is over and SUPERGIRL, ARROW, and THE FLASH are all back with all-new episodes. Let’s take a look at what’s in store.

Supergirl’s back in action! The latest episode of SUPERGIRL saw a team up between Kara and Nia Nahl, with Nia embracing her destiny as a hero. Next week on ARROWVERSE, an episode of SUPERGIRL is entitled, “What’s So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?” According to the synopsis, Manchester Black breaks out of prison with some new friends. Supergirl is going to try and stop them while at the same time a new surprise development happens with Ben Lockwood.

While the promo doesn’t tell us anything about what this new development with Lockwood might be, we do get to see Manchester. His new team is called the Elite. “Supergirl is done. This is the era of the Elite.” He says. After a few shots of Black escaping prison, we see his team face to face with Supergirls team. She counters by saying that she has Super Friends. All in all, it should be a pretty cool episode next week on ARROWVERSE.

After the shocking revelation from the “Star City Slayer” episode, this week’s episode, “Brothers and Sisters,” doesn’t seem to be letting up on the shock reveals. At least this time it looks like the characters will be dealing with those revelations more than the audience. The biggest revelation looks to be Diggle and possibly Lyla, revealing to Oliver and Felicity that they have Diaz in the Ghost Initiative. The synopsis says:

“After months of covertly pursuing Dante, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) finally have a solid lead on the elusive terrorist, so they deploy the ARGUS Ghost Initiative to apprehend him.  Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) tries to bond with Emiko (Sea Shimooka).”

I’m guessing that because ARGUS is using the Ghost Initiative Diggle doesn’t feel that it’s right to keep Diaz a secret from Oliver and Felicity any longer.

The part of this episode I’m most looking forward to comes from the trailer next week on ARROWVERSE. There’s a shot of Diaz firing a gun at Felicity. We already know that Curtis implanted an impressive VR system within all of the Ghost Initiative recruits, so it could be a shot from that. But it could also be something within Felicity’s psyche.

I don’t believe for a second that the shot is something that’s happening in real life, but I do think it would be interesting to see Felicity’s reaction to Diaz being out. Even though Oliver went to jail, I think Felicity is the one who was most affected by Diaz overall. Plus, Emiko and Oliver are working on bonding, which should add an element of mirth to the episode. I mean, two characters who are similarly trying to get past their trust issues? It’s definitely a recipe for disaster.

THE FLASH is back and next week on ARROWVERSE is going to be awesome! Next week’s episode is titled, “King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd.” THE FLASH certainly knows how to come back with a bang. The synopsis says that when Gorilla Grodd attacks Central City, Team Flash teams up with King Shark. When that team up gets complicated, they bring in Dr. Tanya Lamden to try and reach the man behind the shark.

The Flash has stopped Grodd before by other means, so I’m curious as to what sort of advantage bringing King Shark to the table will be. Is it just that he’s a big animal-type villain who could go toe to toe with Grodd strength-wise? If so, it seems odd but it’ll still be visually cool next week on ARROWVERSE.

The promo confirms as much. It looks pretty sweet. It starts out with Team Flash on the dock, with the King Shark beneath the water. We see King Shark emerge in all its CGI glory. Iris shares her excitement along with the fans: “King Shark vs. Gorilla Grodd are you kidding me?!” We then saw Grodd on top of the building, with shots alternating between the two hulking beasts. Lastly, we then hear Grodd:

THE FLASH is going to be pretty awesome next week on ARROWVERSE, as will ARROW and SUPERGIRL. Be sure to let us know in the comments which one you’re most looking forward to!
