Previously in JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK, writer James Tynion IV dug into the reasons behind Nabu’s descent into darkness. Consequently, Nabu, also known as the Lord of Order, and various other Lords of Order fought the members of Justice League Dark, with some of those members perceiving the attack as an invasion. Now, in JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #10, the conflict intensifies as Nabu makes his power known to all.

The Death of the Multiverse

JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #10 commences with Nabu reflecting on his perception of the state of the multiverse. He believes it to be in complete and total chaos. Thus, Nabu appoints himself as the one to exemplify the solution he states to have found. However, that solution includes wiping out all magic that Earth has and killing all beings of magic in the process.

Ultimately, the Lords of Order agree with Nabu’s perspectives and plans and support his intention to proceed with them.
