Over the course of our busy New York Comic Con 2016 interview schedule, ComicsVerse had the amazing opportunity to speak with the cast and crew of DC’s upcoming animated film JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK. The film releases in 2017 from Warner Brothers entertainment. One of those individuals was Jason O’Mara, the voice of Batman in the film. This is not the first time he voiced the Dark Knight. He has also voiced the character in the animated films SON OF BATMAN, BATMAN VS ROBIN, BATMAN: BAD BLOOD, JUSTICE LEAGUE: WAR, JUSTICE LEAGUE: THRONE OF ATLANTIS, and JUSTICE LEAGUE VS TEEN TITANS. You could say he has some experience in the role.

Jason O’Mara Plays Jeffery Mace on Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

In addition to his amazing performances for DC in the voice booth, O’Mara also turned in some great on-screen performances for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He is currently the (not so) Inhuman Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., Jeffery Mace, in Marvel’s AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. However, when we spoke with Jason we talked mostly about his time as Batman. We subsequently discussed how fatherhood in his own life affected the way he approaches a character. We also discussed Batman’s role in JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK and how he must cope with being a skeptic surrounded by elements of magic.
