It’s a tale of a group of diverse women who clash like sisters as they fight demons in the digital world. In GODDESS MODE #4, their adventures continue. A Heart-wrenching Start At the start of GODDESS MODE #4, Cassandra has just barely gained control over her powers in Azoth — a physical representation of the internet. As her new friends try to awaken her, she has had a heartbreaking discussion with her deceased father – or what’s left of him. She then jolts awake, returning back to the Analog. She tries to explain what happened to her friends. But she can’t quite get through the emotions bubbling up from the experience she just had. So instead of telling them about her dad, she tells the Poppies about the shady situation at Hermeticorp — the company her father tried to infiltrate as well. Cassandra has been playing a game of chicken with her boss, and now they seem to be at a standstill. Cassandra is still confused about who the real enemy is, and a group of sisters decide to call it a night before they spend hours debating it. But when they all go their separate ways, Cassandra’s doubts don’t leave her. She regrets that she didn’t tell her dad that she loves him. She wonders if retracing his steps is the way to unravel all of the mysteries around her. With that – she resumes her Hermeticorp employee orientation.
