Soon after, a mishap at a S.T.A.R. Labs facility led to the whole Earth — Superman included — ending up in the same place! Earth heroes were able to get the planet back to the regular universe, but Superman stayed behind. So, after Zod learned of Zaar, he got himself transported to the Zone to face Zaar himself. In this SUPERMAN #6 preview, Zod begins his battle. Clark muses on how his super speed normally doesn’t affect his daily life. However, Zod and Zaar fight with so much emotion and rage that even Superman finds it hard to keep up with their pace. Supes also finds that his first instinct is to break up the battle, since he’s typically a paragon of fairness and mercy. However, both of the fighters are two of his toughest enemies. So Clark notices that Zod has the upper hand. He’s incredibly conflicted as to whether or not he should let Zod finish the job. SUPERMAN #6’s preview ends there but, if the cover is any indication, Supes may have a very familiar visitor in the Phantom Zone. Hey, isn’t his son traveling with the one man who tried to prevent Krypton’s destruction? The creative team for this comic consists of Brian Michael Bendis, Ivan Reis, Joe Prado, and Oclair Albert. So take a first look at this fateful battle with our exclusive preview of SUPERMAN #6, out this Wednesday, Dec. 12! SUPERMAN #6 Preview Gallery All pages courtesy of DC Entertainment.
