    Also, it didn’t seem to me as Ari was qualified enough to analyze Magneto, as his X-Men knowledge was really not that great. Though I do agree about Magneto: Testament. I think not showing Magneto’s past, or only hinting about it like Claremont did is far more effective then trying to show the horror of the holocaust through his eyes. Even with great research – it’s a hard task to pull off as it is. As a jew, after reading books about the subject, like Ka-Tsetnik’s work or any other testimony, reading Pack’s GN felt almost silly. I didn’t take it sereously at all. Though it’s better then most superheroes attempt to depicit real life issues (think of all the superhero comics that awkwardly refer to the famine in Africa) it’s still isn’t good enough.
