Episode 87 of the ComicsVerse podcasts features analysis of our favorite female superheroes — the X-Men Women!

It’s no secret the American left was rendered speechless due to the events on the night of November 8, 2016. We, at least, hoped 2016 would be the year of the woman. Therefore, we patiently waited for the moment Hillary Clinton assumed the position of the most powerful women in the history of the world. However, we ended up shocked to the core.

In place of our idealism and hope remained an inconvenient fact. Despite outnumbering men, women were still an oppressed “minority.” Women seem forced to deal with slings and arrows long ago deemed inappropriate for males of most races and ethnicities. It is with this glaring fact in mind that ComicsVerse subsequently dedicated our 87th episode to the X-Men women, our favorite female superheroes.

Why Celebrate the X-Men Women and Female Superheroes Now?

It doesn’t matter which side of the political aisle you fall on. Maybe it doesn’t even matter if you’re political at all. It’s obvious the west has some work to do when it comes to fairness between the two binary genders. Instead of arguing the point, we at ComicsVerse have decided to celebrate the point by celebrating the X-Men women: Kitty Pryde, Rogue, Mystique, Jean Grey, Storm, and Emma Frost.

What makes each of these ladies tick? How do they celebrate their femininity? What are their hopes, dreams, and fears? All this and more is subsequently discussed in episode 87 of the ComicsVerse Podcast — Celebrating the X-Men Women! Finally, if your favorite female X-Man isn’t mentioned above, stay tuned to the end of the episode. We call out some honorable mentions!

The X-Men Women are our Favorite Female Superheroes

In conclusion, keep this in mind. This podcast episode celebrates our favorite female superheroes, the X-Men women. However, in most cases, we’ve spent between two to four hours discussing each of these characters:

We hope you enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed recording it! In addition, we can’t wait to hear who some of your favorite X-Men women and female superheroes are!

No can do. The X-Men have always been political. We’re just embracing that! Also, what’s wrong with celebrating female characters?
