A new BATMAN comic picks up where the Telltale series of the same name leaves off. BATMAN: SINS OF THE FATHER. Telltale Games brought the adventure genre back to the mainstream, and they’re no stranger to comic adaptations. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before someone made a comic book out of one of their games.

BATMAN: SINS OF THE FATHER Comes Full Circle

BATMAN: SINS OF THE FATHER is a comic book based on a video game…based on a comic book. You could say things have come full circle.

As I mentioned, BATMAN: SINS OF THE FATHER picks up where the story left off. While Bruce Wayne works to repair his company’s reputation, The Dark Knight faces a new threat. Someone’s killing people associated with Arkham Asylum, and Batman must investigate! Bridging the gap between the first and second seasons of the game, the comic promises new details and story-threads for fans of the video game. Much like the game, the reader can expect intrigue, mystery, and twists within the sprawling world of Gotham City.

A Strong Creative Team

The series will be written by Christos Gage (BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER: ANGEL & FAITH, and TV’s DAREDEVIL), and illustrated by Raffaele Ienco (FANTASTIC FOUR, BLACK KNIGHT).

Ienco had this to say, “I’m thrilled to be making my DC debut drawing such a high-profile character like Batman, as well as working alongside fantastic Christos Gage and our editor, Jim Chadwick. I can’t wait to share what Gage and I have cooked up for the fans of this series.”

Gage had some words to share as well, “I love the bold choices the Telltale Games folks made in their approach to Batman…I’m excited to contribute to this world and I can’t wait for fans to see Raffaele bring the story to life. He is a great match to the visual style of the game while adding his unique, hard-hitting take to it.”
