She knows that Grotesque is working with the Dark Web to commit his crimes. She also knows that this murder victim isn’t the real Grotesque. Yet, instead of explaining all of this to the detective who’s also searching for answers, she flees. Babs is convinced that she can solve the mystery on her own. The problem is, she has to be free to do so. She might not like “tangling with the police,” but it seems like her only option if she wants this case solved quickly. The rest of BATGIRL #28 also deals with Babs’ recent problems with the spinal implant that has allowed her to walk since the Joker attacked her in the classic graphic novel THE KILLING JOKE. The malfunctions give both Barbara and her father, Commissioner Jim Gordon, a fright. This complication tests their relationship. Babs continues to push herself, even though her father wants her to rest and heal. BATGIRL #28 Preview Gallery There is much more to see in this issue, which comes out this Wednesday, October 24th.
