Pete Imbesi

A New Jersey native, Pete Imbesi, is a life-long lover of all things pop culture with a particular soft-spot for video games, comics, music, and television. He graduated Rowan University with a degree in Journalism, where he is currently working on a Master’s degree and serving as an Adjunct Professor. When he isn’t creating or editing content for ComicsVerse or his YouTube gaming channel Slack N’ Slash Pete can be found playing drums in his moderately successful Americana/Ska band the Political Party Crashers, working on the next great American (graphic) novel, or trying to get some sleep.

Wizard World Philadelphia might not be as large as its East Coast cousin, New York Comic Con, but 2015 saw the largest turnout to the City of Brotherly Love's geekiest weekend, with Wizard World reporting attendance being in the "tens of thousands."
