BATMAN #29 is a clever and unique issue in Tom King's "War of Jokes and Riddles" storyline. It's a great analysis of the Joker, the Riddler, and of course Batman himself. The book is packed with fascinating themes and brilliant dialogue, truly showing King's strength as a writer.

GREEN ARROW #29 is a thoughtful issue by writer Benjamin Percy and artist Juan Ferreyra. It beautifully discusses the question of what role the wealthy should have in our society through the heroes of Batman and Green Arrow. Percy asks whether wealth always leads to corruption or whether people can use it for good. It's an important question, which we as a society should be asking, and it's what makes GREEN ARROW #29 a wonderful issue.

AQUAMAN #27 is the next chapter in a fascinating arc by Dan Abnett. It tells the story of how Aquaman, after losing his throne, must take down a group of underworld criminals in Atlantis' 9th Tirade. Abnett and artist Stephen Sejic make this another great issue in one of the most fantastic arcs of this series.

HAWKEYE by writer Kelly Thompson and artists Leonardo Romero and Joride Bellaire has been a refreshing, fun book centering on Kate Bishop AKA Hawkeye. This appealing and humorous series depicts Hawkeye's move to L.A. to start her own detective agency. Alas, this series has not been selling that well.
