Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr This Week On the Arrowverse sees its three core heroes facing off with their season’s biggest villains. Mon-El and Supergirl must push through romantic tension to deal with Reign and the rest of the Worldkillers. Flash will work with Wentworth Miller (in perhaps his final Arrowverse appearance) as Citizen Cold to defeat the Thinker. Finally, Arrow will recruit an old friend to hunt down Ricardo Diaz once and for all. SUPERGIRL Season 3 Episode 15: “In Search of Lost Time” Last week’s episode of SUPERGIRL was an entertaining excursion finally focusing on Winn’s (Jeremy Jordan) storyline. This episode “In Search of Lost Time” will refocus on the primary Reign storyline. Lena Luthor (Kate McGrath) has been testing Sam (Odette Annable) and will soon discover her secret identity. What will Kate do when she discovers the horrific truth about her friend? Meanwhile, Mon-El (Chris Wood), now sporting a comic accurate costume (thank you), will be training Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) to fight future Worldkillers. This is a nice role reversal since Supergirl initially trained Mon-El last season. I expect this episode to be largely a bonding episode between the two former lovers. The title “In Search of Lost Time” suggests that Mon-El and Supergirl think about what could have been in their relationship. Will they be tempted to rekindle a romance? They’ll have to deal with Myr’nn (Carl Lumbly), J’onn’s (David Harewood) father, who’s alien dementia is causing his psychic powers to become out of hand. Martian Manhunter and Supergirl will have to work together to stop Myr’nn from inadvertently destroying the DEO. Make sure to watch SUPERGIRL on Mondays 9/8c only on The CW! FLASH Season 4 Episode 19: Citizen Cold Returns In “Fury Rogue” THE FLASH Season 4 Episode 19 The previous episode of THE FLASH featured surprising twists and turns. Including the loss of both Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) and Elongated Man (Hartley Sawyer). Team Flash’s worse fears have come true with Devoe (Neil Sandilands) capturing Ralph and obtaining his powers, along with the other bus metas! Devoe has now become a super-meta, easily defeating Flash (Grant Gustin) and Vibe (Carlos Valdes). Devoe also, perhaps unintentionally, permanently removed Killer Frost from Caitlin’s brain. There is also the B-story of Harry and the Thinking Cap. Harry (Tom Cavanagh) gets hit with an energy blast from over-exerting the power after connecting the Thinking Cap to Gideon. While the effects of this blast are unknown at the moment, they will most likely be revealed in this week’s episode. The promo for THE FLASH season 4 episode 19 shows the return of Leo Snart, aka Citizen Cold (Wentworth Miller). Barry enlists the help of Citizen Cold to move Fallout (Ryan Alexander McDonald) — the nuclear meta from season 4 episode 10. Catch Up With THE FLASH Comics Here at Comixology.com! It is unclear why Team Flash wants to move Fallout. It should be worth noting that Citizen Cold is not the only special guest this week. Laurel Lance, aka Black Siren (Katie Cassidy), will also make an appearance. Her role is a mystery as well. Will moving Fallout be worth the possible damage he might create? How will Miller conclude his time on THE FLASH? What is Devoe’s next move now that he has acquired several of the bus metas? Find out on this week’s THE FLASH on The CW at 8/9 PM Eastern Standard Time! ARROW Season 6 Episode 20: “Shifting Allegiances” This week’s episode of ARROW is Season 6, episode 20. Titled, “Shifting Allegiances,” the synopsis reveals that Oliver (Stephen Amell) will turn to an old friend for assistance fighting Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Rene (Rick Gonzalez) will also be out of the hospital but will struggle to readjust as Wild Dog, and Lance (Paul Blackthorne) will discover something shocking about Black Siren (Katie Cassidy). The episode’s promo trailer shares some different info. It begins with Lance refusing to believe that Oliver is scared of a thug like Diaz. We then see a shot of Diaz face to face with Oliver and Diaz tells him the stakes. If Diaz can take him down in hand to hand combat, Oliver must leave Star City. If Oliver takes Diaz down, he’ll do the same. It looks as though this fight scene will be the climax of the episode. It will be interesting to see who the old friend is going to be (Maybe Slade?) I’m also willing to bet that the shocking discovery Lance makes about Laurel is that she is still in league with Diaz.ARROW airs this Thursday, 9/8c on the CW.
