This Week on the 25th week of the Arrowverse this year (starring Tommy Merlyn), we will see some further escalation as each hero matches wits with a far more powerful enemy. In SUPERGIRL, Kara will have to team up with Imra to defeat the Worldkiller known as Pestilence.

In FLASH, we will see the Clifford DeVoe AKA The Thinker, hatch the final phases of his evil plan. Finally, in ARROW, we will see the aftermath of Oliver Queen’s arrest and a startling courtroom drama which will return Tommy Merlyn to ARROW. Can we expect that Colin Donnell’s Tommy Merlyn will permanently return to ARROW?

SUPERGIRL Season 3 Episode 16: “Of Two Minds”

After a few episodes of noticeable absence, Imra (Amy Jackson) will return to SUPERGIRL in the episode “Of Two Minds.” Imra and Supergirl will clash over how to stop the third Worldkiller, Pestilence. Pestilence will create plagues across National City which Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will find herself unable to stop. Imra, being from the future, knows of the damage that Pestilence will unleash upon the world if Supergirl does not stop her now.

SUPERGIRL Triumphs in Season 3 ‘Legion of Superheroes’ Mid-Season Premiere

I’m curious to see if Supergirl will spend some more time developing Imra and Supergirl’s relationship. I feel like Imra hasn’t had a lot of time to build up her character. Instead, much of this season has once again focused on Mon-El (Chris Wood) and Supergirl’s relationship again. This is all well and good but with the Legion of Super-Heroes introduced, I am far more interested in their storyline this season.

Hopefully, in this episode, we will get some more Legion action with Brainiac 5 (Jesse Rath). Can Supergirl and the Legion defeat Pestilence now? Or can we expect a larger battle between the Legion and the Worldkillers to rage later in the season? Find out by watching the show!

Supergirl airs on Mondays at 9/8c only on the CW!

FLASH Season 4 Episode 20: “Therefore She Is”

Barry (Grant Gustin) went through an emotional journey dealing with Ralph’s death in the previous episode. It was thanks to Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) from Earth-X that Barry was able to confront the emotions he was neglecting. Citizen Cold was brought in to help cool down Fallout during the transport of him to an undisclosed ARGUS location.

DeVoe (Neil Sandilands) apparently wanted him for some unknown reason. Snart also provided some sage advice to both Barry and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Some interesting developments on the DeVoe front as well, as it seems he cannot calculate love. As cheesy as it may sound, love may be the way Team Flash will defeat DeVoe. Also, in the B-story, Harry’s (Tom Cavanagh) synapses are fried. Which means he will soon forget all that he knows and will have to learn everything all over again.

The upcoming episode of THE FLASH this week is titled “Therefore She Is.” This could be referring to the mystery girl who keeps appearing throughout the season. Her first appearance was during the Crisis on Earth-X Crossover, and from there she has met nearly every member of Team Flash. In the promo for the episode, it seems that DeVoe is collecting technology for some unknown purpose.

It seems that Team Flash enlists the help of Gypsy (Jessica Camacho) to help them stop DeVoe. This will give Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and her the opportunity to discuss their relationship. It could also help Cisco decide whether he should take the job as the new Breacher, thus leaving his friends behind. Will Cisco leave Team Flash to be with Gypsy? What is DeVoe’s Endgame? How will love conquer all?

Be sure to catch THE FLASH Tuesdays at 8/9 PM Eastern Standard Time on The CW!

ARROW Season 6 Episode 21: Tommy Merlyn in “Docket No. 11-19-41-73”

This week’s episode of Arrow is Season 6, episode 21. Titled “No. 11-19-41-73,” the synopsis shares that Oliver (Stephen Amell) begins to wonder if he will lose everything in his battle to save Star City, and a familiar face returns.

Catch up on Benjamin Percy’s Amazing GREEN ARROW run on ComiXology!

This episode will feature the fallout where Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) has Oliver arrested. His trial having been moved up, Oliver is facing time in prison and truly being outed as the Green Arrow.

The promo shares along the same lines with a surprising twist. It begins with the team worrying about Oliver potentially getting life in prison. A courtroom is seen and a judge pronounces that the trail of The People vs. Oliver Queen is in session. Diaz tells Laurel (Katie Cassidy) that it’ll be the final nail in the coffin when she takes the stand.

Then suddenly, with Oliver seated in the courtroom, the Arrow breaks through the glass from above. He sits on the stand and removes his hood. It’s none other than Tommy Merlyn (Colin Donnell), long thought to be dead! We’ll have to tune in and see if this is the real Tommy Merlyn or if this is a Doppelganger, such as the Tommy Merlyn from Earth-X.

ARROW airs this Thursday, 9/8c on the CW
