This week on the Arrowverse brings tensions up to a pinnacle. All three Worldkillers unite against the Girl of Steel during a solar eclipse in SUPERGIRL. DeVoe’s plans are coming to fruition which forces Star Labs to team up with Amunet in THE FLASH. Finally, in ARROW’s penultimate episode of this season, Oliver is able to reunite his team only to find himself in serious danger from the sinister Ricardo Diaz AKA The Dragon.

SUPERGIRL Season 3 Episode 17: “Trinity”

The odds are stacked against Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) in her next episode. This episode is called “Trinity,” a reference that any DC fan would associate with Superman, Wonder Woman, and Batman. However, in this episode “Trinity” refers to the union of the three Worldkillers: Reign (Odette Annable), Purity (Julia Freeman), and Pestilence (Grace Parker).

Now all three Worldkillers can unleash their powers upon the world to frightening effect. Supergirl would already have difficulty defeating three Kryptonians as it were. Now she has to contend with them during the effects of a solar eclipse. During the eclipse, we can expect for Supergirl’s powers to be diminished. How can the Girl of Steel take on a threat of such great magnitude?

Meanwhile, Supergirl enlists the help of Jimmy Olsen/Guardian (Mehcad Brooks) “for a favor.” I assume that there is tension between Supergirl’s and Lena (Katie McGrath) after Kara learned that Lena withheld information about Reign. Supergirl may ask Guardian to spy on Lena or something along those lines.

That will be a difficult request due to Jimmy Olsen’s relationship with Lena. Meanwhile, it remains unclear how Mon-El (Chris Wood) and the rest of the Legion will assist in Supergirl’s fight against the Worldkillers.

THE FLASH Season 4 Episode 21: “Harry and The Harrisons”

The previous episode of THE FLASH broke up a fan favorite Arrowverse couple — Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Gypsy (Jessica Camacho). On the DeVoe (Neil Sandilands) front, we finally know what he’s planning to accomplish. DeVoe’s “Enlightenment” involves removing the intelligence of everyone on Earth, leaving himself to be the teacher for all of mankind.

Harry (Tom Cavanagh) and Cecile (Danielle Nicolet) team-up and discover DeVoe’s plan. Due to the dark matter exposed to Harry’s brain, his thoughts are disappearing as quickly as they’re coming. However, thanks to Cecile’s mind-reading powers she can complete Harry’s thoughts. The final developments from the episode are Marlize (Kim Engelbrecht) leaving DeVoe. Also, the mystery girl (Jessica Parker Kennedy) is, in fact, a speedster! This fuels the theory that she is Barry and Iris’ daughter.

This Week On The Arrowverse Week 21: Grodd Attacks Young Obama in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW

This week’s episode is “Harry and the Harrisons,” which will focus on Harry trying to fix his dwindling intelligence. Based on the extended promo, the Council of Wells reject Harry since he is no longer a genius. So, Cisco brings together other Harrisons whom the Council of Wells rejected to help Harry. In another storyline, the Team Flash enlist the help of Amunet (Katee Sackhoff) to stop DeVoe.

According to the Caitlin, Amunet is immune to DeVoe’s powers… for reasons that will be explained in the episode. It is anyone’s guess how Team Flash will defeat DeVoe. But odds are Marlize will join forces with Team Flash and be essential to stopping DeVoe. Will the other Harrisons be able to help our Harry? Can Team Flash trust Amunet to help them? Will we finally get confirmation that the mystery girl is Barry and Iris’ daughter?
