Then LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Returns with a guest appearance from everyone’s favorite occult detective, John Constantine.

This Week on The Arrowverse Week 13: Prison Break

LEGENDS OF TOMORROW: 3×10 John Constantine in “Daddy Darkhest”

This week will air the long-awaited midseason return of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW with Season 3, Episode 10. In this episode, “Daddy Darhkest,” the Legends will meet none other than John Constantine (Matt Ryan). They agree to accompany him a psych ward in the present day and will be surprised to discover who John is trying to help. The synopsis also reveals that Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Nate (Nick Zano) will once again cross paths with Kuasa (Tracy Ifeachor). The episode’s preview released by the CW shows some more detail.

Constantine introduces himself to the team and refers to himself as “an accomplished warlock, and expect on the occult.” Several shots show several possessed and supernatural patients in psych ward. Ray (Russell Tovey) then adds, “Did I tell you I don’t like horror movies?” It appears as though this episode will fall heavily on the horror genre, and will give Constantine fans another opportunity to view his supernatural abilities in action. LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will air Monday, at 9/8c on the CW

BLACK LIGHTNING: 1×05: “Aches and Pains”

Episode 1×05 of BLACK LIGHTNING is called “Aches and Pains.” In this episode Jefferson (Cress Williams) takes a break from his war against the 100 gang to investigate the murder of his father. After Jefferson receives an unexpected phone call, he will go on a quest to discover who killed his father. Perhaps Peter Gambi (James Remar) knows more than he’s letting on about Jefferson’s father’s unexpected death.

Meanwhile, Anissa (Nafessa Williams) is still learning how to become a proper vigilante. She discovers that she has to be strategic and patient if she is going to be an effective hero. As the synopsis suggests, she learns that “her actions have dire consequences.” We will have to wait until the episode airs to discover what these consequences entail.

Finally, Tobias Whale (Marvin Jones III) continues to search for ways to neutralize Black Lightning. He has realized that he must cut off the community’s support for the vigilante before he can kill the hero. It looks like he will continue to persuade Khalil (Jordan Calloway) to join his 100 gang. Make sure to watch BLACK LIGHTNING on Tuesdays at 9/8c on THE CW after LEGENDS OF TOMORROW returns on Monday.
